Strong Start for Freeland

Summit came out aggressive early, attacking the basket and pushing the pace in transition. Summit were able to build momentum in the first half by moving the ball well and finding open scoring opportunities.

Their defensive pressure also caused problems for Freeland, forcing turnovers and limiting easy scoring chances.

Flancons Battles Back

The Falcons refused to back down. In the second half, they adjusted defensively and began slowing the tempo of the game.

Freeland hit several key shots and managed to keep the game competitive, cutting into Freeland’s lead and making it a tight contest heading into the fourth quarter.

Falcons Finish Strong

Despite Summit Academy’s push, Freeland stayed composed late in the game. The Falcons executed offensively with Hucklbery scoring 22 of Freelands 57 and came up with crucial defensive stops in the final minutes.

Strong rebounding and disciplined play helped Freeland protect their lead and secure the victory 57 to 47.

Freeland Advances

With the win, the Freeland Falcons move on to the next round of the state tournament, keeping their championship hopes alive.

For Summit Academy, the loss ends a strong postseason run, but the team showed resilience and competitiveness throughout the tournament.

Freeland now looks ahead to the semifinals as they continue their quest for a state title. 🏆🏀
